My name is Ali Ellefsen and I am the owner of Ali Ellefsen Trusts and Estates. For many years, I have had the privilege of representing individuals and families whose lives have been upended due to injury or death of a loved one. Through this experience, I learned quickly that most people have no plan for death or disability.

Witnessing the chaos and confusion that surrounds those without direction, I pressed my parents to make a plan. I did not think that we would rely on those plans as quickly as we did, but, as we all know, things can change in a heartbeat.

It was late August of 2023 when my dad’s health declined. My mom, sister, and I were by his bedside at Sacred Heart Hospital when the hospice nurse asked my mom what she wanted to do. Fortunately, five years prior, he made a plan. Because of his plan, it was his decision that was given to the hospice nurse. With it, the machines were turned off and he passed away peacefully on September 3, 2023.

I have seen the benefit of estate planning and know how important it is for every person to have a plan no matter how much or how little you have. Because of that, my goal is to assist as many families as I can.

In addition to estate planning, I still maintain an active personal injury practice. My spare time is enjoyed with my husband, our two young boys (ages 6 and 3), and a wild, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Bob.
